Summary
Masanosuke is a talented samurai from a distinguished family who struggles with extreme shyness, leading to frequent dismissals from his positions despite his abilities. He departed his hometown due to a sense of not belonging. He later takes on a bodyguard role for Yaichi within the Fives Leaves group, though he remains ignorant of their criminal operations, which include kidnapping. While he admires Yaichi’s carefree nature and holds a degree of reverence for him, Masanosuke is also intrigued by the leader's mysterious past.
