Summary
Shinobu, a student at Nagatenjouki Academy, was involved in the Sisters experiment prior to its cancellation and was later recalled during the Level 6 Shift program. Upon realizing that the Sisters possessed a conscience, she refused to treat them as mere objects. Shinobu attempted to halt the experiments by placing envelopes containing cash cards in the unmonitored alleyways where the subjects were kept, hoping to replace the artificial human eyes with genuine observation. Although she lacks any actual abilities, she employs skilled acting to instill fear in her enemies, convincing them she possesses a deadly power. She refers to this fabricated ability as "Critical," claiming it only works on opponents she has physically touched. Through her, Mikoto discovers the truth about the Sisters experiment. Shinobu eventually infiltrates a facility linked to the project, intending to install fear emotions into the Sisters to challenge the morality of their creation, but she is captured by Saiai Kinuhata.
