Summary
Ushio serves as a security guard monitoring the Satellite district, relying on his muscular physique to maintain his status as a formidable duelist. Although he possesses a violent temperament, his physical strength commands respect within the area. He first appears in the initial episode of Yu-Gi-Oh, where he acts as a student guard who extorts money from residents for his protection services. Yugi was among those he preyed upon. Beyond the original series, Ushio appears in nearly every Yu-Gi-Oh installment, with the notable exception of Capsule Monsters. In the original anime, he bullies Yugi in one episode, a scene that is later revisited as a flashback in Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters. In Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters GX, he is referenced as a victim of Trueman, while in Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's, he assumes a significant supporting role.
