Summary
Hana is a homeless trans woman who was never raised by her biological parents. This background fosters a deep sense of sympathy for Kiyoko, an infant she discovers and takes in as her own. Although her difficult upbringing makes her the kindest among the three primary characters, she suffers from chronic illness, a vulnerability she carefully conceals from those around her.
