Thurston, Adroc
Summary
Adroc Thurston was a military researcher and celebrated hero who originally created the Ageha Plan. Realizing its extreme destructiveness, he attempted to have the project buried. His team was conducting experiments on the Seven Swell phenomenon when he vanished during an experiment involving the Amita Drive. As revealed by Eureka to Renton, Adroc stopped the experiment’s full power from destroying the planet by removing the Compac/Amita Drive from its socket in the Nirvash, which interrupted the transdimensional rift. The process dragged him bodily into the rift, leaving nothing behind except the drive itself. He was officially declared dead, and while a massive monument stands in his hometown of Bellforest, it is largely ignored by the public. Throughout the series, Adroc never has a voice actor and only appears in narrated flashbacks or non-speaking scenes.
