Summary
As the third son of the Itoshiki family, Mikoto bears a striking physical resemblance to Nozomu. He operates a private medical practice known as the Itoshiki Clinic, yet the establishment suffers from a lack of patients among the local townsfolk. This scarcity of visitors stems from the fact that his name, when written horizontally, visually mimics the word zetsumei, meaning death. The association is so potent that it triggers a loss of self-control whenever his name is mentioned, a reaction particularly intensified when he is addressed by the ominous title Zetsumei-sensei.
