Summary
Chiaki Yumai, better known by his alias Thor, first appeared in Battle 70. Standing at 195cm and weighing 200kg, this twenty-year-old Dou fighter practices Katsujin Ken and specializes in Combat Sumo. Formerly the Seventh Fist of Ragnarok, he currently serves as a captain for the Shinpaku Alliance. Thor is a towering, heavily muscled man with a distinctive fat yet powerful physique, short black hair, and prominent dark sideburns. He typically wears a sleeveless kimono to display his arms and fights barefoot. He adopted a combat-sumo style to fulfill his dream of making the discipline mainstream. Despite his affiliation with Ragnarok, Thor maintains a strong sense of honor, preferring to reason with opponents and strictly adhering to the rules of sumo wrestling. He possesses sharp perception, immediately identifying Kenichi after their first meeting based on information provided by Siegfried. Thor views the Shinpaku Alliance as a group of true comrades, a stark contrast to his time in Ragnarok, where he felt Siegfried was his only ally. He holds a deep respect for fellow Sumo Wrestlers, cheering for them during the D of D Tournament and mimicking their mannerisms. While he has a fear of heights, as evidenced by his hesitation to jump from a helicopter, he overcomes this for the sake of his friends. Thor’s skills are the result of intense self-training rather than formal instruction from a master, a feat that impressed Takeda Ikki as being beyond belief. This demonstrates that beneath his apparent simplicity lies immense determination. His abilities were further enhanced through training with Kugatachi Danki.
