Summary

As the great-grandmother of Shampoo, Cologne travels with her to Japan and establishes the Cat Café in Furinkan. A contemporary of Happosai, she is well over a hundred years old. She refers to Ranma as her "bride-groom" or "son-in-law," a tactic used to pressure him into marrying Shampoo and to enjoy watching him rage. A grand master of martial arts, she occasionally instructs Ranma and his rivals in new techniques, while getting around by bouncing on a gnarled wooden staff that she also employs as a weapon. As the grand master of Chinese Amazon martial arts, she possesses the ability to manipulate water and ice, generate whirlwinds by using an opponent's aura against them, destroy inanimate objects with a mere touch, and apply pressure points that make targets feel as though they are burning from the slightest heat. Additionally, she has extensive knowledge of arcane lore, cooking, Chinese mythology, and magic artifacts.
