Kondou, Isami
Summary
Isami Kondou is a black-haired man with dark brown eyes who serves as the Kyoukuchou, or head, of the Shinsengumi. Despite his high-ranking position, he has a relatively minor presence in the narrative and is frequently overruled by Hijikata. Kondou displays greater tolerance than his subordinates, showing leniency toward Tetsunosuke’s mistakes and Souji’s childish behavior. However, he is more willing to take risks than Hijikata.
