Tsurumi, Rumi
Summary
Rumi is a lonely elementary school girl who faces open hostility from her classmates. Hayato initially attempted to help by speaking with her publicly, but this only drew more animosity toward her. After careful deliberation, Hachiman and his group devised a plan to break the social cohesion of her peers. They orchestrated a scenario where Hayato and Kakeru acted as aggressors, threatening Rumi’s classmates during a treasure hunt to reveal their selfishness. This exposure fractured the trust among the students, effectively stopping the organized bullying, though it left Rumi with virtually no friends.
