Aladdin

Summary

Aladdin is a young Magi and Magician, currently twelve years old, who serves as Alibaba Saluja’s partner and stands as one of the four Magi of the current era. Initially arriving in the world with a flute containing the Djinn Ugo and a magic turban, he meets Alibaba in Qishan. After Alibaba witnesses the power residing within Aladdin’s flute, he convinces Aladdin to join him in dungeon diving to capture Amon. Aladdin hails from the former nation of Alma Torran and is now affiliated with the Sindria Kingdom, where he holds the title of Prince. In combat, Aladdin is exceptionally powerful, utilizing Magoi and various forms of Magic to defeat formidable opponents like Morgiana. He possesses deep knowledge of Ugo’s techniques, including Har-Har Infigar. Although Ugo taught him this magic for contingency, it is revealed that Ugo merely acted as a conduit while Aladdin supplied the necessary Magoi. In Magnostadt, Aladdin was classified as a "Red Magician," indicating his specialization in flame and heat-based abilities. Personality-wise, Aladdin is kind, cheerful, and highly social, valuing friendship deeply as he had no companions other than Ugo before arriving in the world. He becomes fiercely protective of his friends, holding grudges against those who harm them and pushing himself to the point of near-death to defend them. Despite spending most of his life in isolation within the Room of Fortitude, making him naive about common concepts like bazaars and Dungeons, he displays surprising wisdom. He offers insightful advice without condescension, maintains a calm demeanor in dire situations, and shows great enthusiasm for learning, particularly under Yamraiha’s tutelage and during his studies in Magnostadt. Aladdin is notably ungreedy, refusing to use Ugo’s wish for wealth or immortality and freely giving away his coins for travel. However, he exhibits some immature traits, such as a tendency to grope women with large breasts and a fondness for stealing food, such as the watermelons belonging to Alibaba’s master and Leila. Beneath his cheerful exterior, Aladdin harbors a secret sense of loneliness, stemming from his uniqueness as a magician and his status as the fourth Magi, a being that should not exist.
