Summary

Sebastian Michaelis is a demon who serves as the butler for the Phantomhive Household, a role he holds under the terms of a Faustian Contract. Before this position, he worked as a Second-String Member of the Noah's Ark Circus and served as the Dormitory Warden of Sapphire Owl at Weston College. Standing 185 cm tall, he is bound by his agreement to obey Ciel’s will completely. He possesses immense skill across all domains, effortlessly managing every task, no matter how impossible, and resolving any issues caused by the other staff members. He frequently justifies his perfection by stating, "Because I am simply one hell of a butler," a phrase that cleverly plays on the Japanese word for demon, akuma, and the phrase for to the end, akumade. This allows the statement to also mean "I am a demon and a butler." A mark resembling the one on Ciel’s right eye appears on Sebastian’s left hand, a feature he has utilized to manipulate targets, such as twisting a kidnapper’s arm without physical contact.
