Summary
Kukai Souma is a lively and spirited former member of the Jack’s Chair, serving as one year senior to Amu. As the captain of the Soccer Club, he demonstrates impressive athleticism and sharp reflexes. He eventually graduates from school, which leads to his replacement within the group. His tenure saw a notable incident where he and Amu were mistakenly identified as a couple after a photo surfaced showing him supporting her following a Character Change that drained her strength. This misunderstanding apparently angered Saaya, who appeared to harbor romantic feelings for him. Kukai possesses the unique ability to perform a Character Transformation with his Guardian Chara, Daichi, by invoking the phrases "Kick, Stack, Trap and Shoot!" while using the Humpty Lock. This partnership allows them to form the "Sky Jack" persona. Upon reaching the end of the school year, Kukai moves on to middle school but maintains a bond with the Guardians, visiting them occasionally. Additionally, he develops a close friendship with Utau, a relationship dynamic that causes Yaya to become suspicious.
