Summary
Youko is the elder sister of Tsubaki and views it as her duty to raise her brother correctly in her deceased mother's stead. She refuses to consider marriage until Tsubaki graduates and secures employment, dedicating her time to housekeeping. She worries when Tsubaki displays strange behavior caused by Urabe's saliva. Although Youko has met Urabe, she is unaware of the full extent of their relationship. Urabe claims to be merely a classmate Tsubaki helps at school, despite some dialogue hinting that she knows the truth.
