Summary
Serving as the chief of research for the diclonius children within the containment facility, this man is in his mid-thirties. He acts as the surrogate father to Nana and is the biological father of Mariko. His wife, Hiromi Kurama, passed away due to complications from a Caesarean section shortly after delivering Mariko. While he was originally ordered to eliminate all diclonius newborns, he hesitates when tasked with killing his own daughter. Lucy harbors intense hatred toward him, rooted in his failure to save Aikon Takada, an incident depicted in the Elfen Lied OVA.
