Summary

Vermouth operates as a high-ranking member of the Black Organization, yet she frequently prioritizes her own agenda and whims over the directives of the Boss or Gin. Her secretive and manipulative nature often leads her to act against the Organization's best interests, even deceiving other members. Confident and bold, she is an expert at manipulating situations to her advantage, possessing the intelligence and insight to weave complex plots and gain the upper hand even when monitored by enemies. Her personality is deeply contradictory; she can be cruel and ruthless, such as blackmailing a man into murder to create a distraction or cruelly telling an FBI agent she should smile because she will see her dead father in heaven. Conversely, she has risked her life multiple times to protect Conan, Ran, and Kogoro. Her friendly demeanor while disguised as Tomoaki Araide was so convincing that the real Araide questioned whether Vermouth could truly be a bad person.
