Summary
Hisashi Sasaki serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Weekly Jump. At the time of his debut, he was forty-five years old, and by the conclusion of the story, he had reached the age of fifty-five. Born on February 22, 1963, he often projects an indifferent or even cold demeanor, a facade he maintains to help authors and editors within the magazine regain their spirits. He possesses a keen eye for manga and firmly believes that the primary importance lies in whether a work is interesting. While he is willing to take significant gambles to improve the magazine, he refuses to put the lives of authors at risk. Hisashi is also familiar with Saikou’s uncle, Kawaguchi Taro, having known him since Taro served as the Assistant Editor-in-Chief at the time he was forced to resign.
