Summary
Teitoku Kakine stands 180 cm tall and holds the rank of the second strongest Level 5 Esper, trailing only Accelerator. As the leader of the underground faction SCHOOL, he wields the ability to produce Dark Matter, a substance that defies natural existence. This power makes him the conceptual opposite of Accelerator, whose specialty lies in destruction rather than creation. Kakine maintains a bitter rivalry with Mugino Shizuri, the Number 4 Level 5 known as Meltdowner and leader of ITEM. Driven by an obsessive desire to become the absolute strongest, even if it requires eliminating Accelerator, he is a ruthless, arrogant, and coldhearted individual. He displays no mercy or compassion toward enemies or bystanders and readily looks down upon anyone he considers inferior.
