Summary
Tanda is a Yaku herbalist residing in the mountains. Although he is the pupil of Torogai, his abilities as a shaman are comparatively weak. He possesses exceptional medical skills, largely honed from his past experience treating Balsa’s injuries. By the time the main narrative begins, Tanda and Balsa have been friends for nearly two decades. Over this period, Tanda’s feelings for Balsa have deepened, yet he has not acted on them for reasons that are revealed later in the story.
