Summary
Hotaru Tachibana is a sixteen-year-old student born on April 2nd who serves as the Student Council President. Renowned for her brute strength, sharp reflexes, and an unwavering sense of justice, she refuses to let wrongdoers escape punishment. Her dedication to righteousness often leads her to pick fights, such as when she beat up students extorting money from a victim or sought revenge against Hosts after her best friend, Kanae, was allegedly conned. Despite her confrontational nature, Hotaru feels deep guilt and apologizes sincerely when she realizes she is mistaken, a trait demonstrated when she bowed her head in shame after arguing with Masamune in front of others. While she possesses outstanding speed, stamina, and strength that make her formidable in close-quarters combat, she suffers from terrible gun accuracy and a habit of charging into battle without hesitation. From episode 4 onwards, she wields a Heckler & Koch G3 SAS High Cycle submachine gun. Often mistaken for a boy due to her appearance, she lives next door to Masamune.
