Summary
Kanata is widely considered one of the most attractive and popular male students at his school, particularly favored by the female students for his handsome appearance. His living situation changes dramatically shortly after Miyu moves in, when his father announces plans to embark on a year-long journey to India in search of enlightenment. This decision forces Kanata and Miyu to reside together under the same roof, a secret arrangement that proves difficult to maintain once Miyu begins attending his school. The nature of their relationship shifts when Miyu’s mother reveals that the two were childhood friends, a revelation that deepens Kanata’s affection for her over time. Although he often uses teasing as a defense mechanism to hide his true feelings, his fondness for her grows steadily. Kanata’s own mother, who was a close friend of Miyu’s mother, passed away when he was young. He has a particular fondness for pumpkin and all its forms, ranging from squash to various chip flavors. Additionally, the young girl Luu refers to him as "papa" due to his striking resemblance to her biological father. In the future, Kanata marries Miyu, and they settle down to live at a temple together, where they raise their daughter, Miu.
