Summary
Mayuko Inoue is the sweet and feminine best friend of Ushio and Asako. She harbors deep affection for Ushio and has romantic feelings for Tora, often showing her care by readily buying him hamburgers. Later in the story, she takes in Kirio as her stepbrother. It is revealed that Mayuko descends from a lineage of powerful lady shamans, granting her the ability to create psychic barriers strong enough to hold back Hakumen.
