Summary
Kaname Sonou is Tsubasa’s best friend and a member of the Technical Class. As a child, he was profoundly lonely with very few friends, largely due to his fragile health. He possesses an Alice that allows him to place souls into stuffed animals, bringing them to life. The use of this ability takes a toll on his lifespan, yet he continues to craft dolls as a way to prove he can bring joy to others. These creations serve as tangible evidence of his existence. Kaname is the creator of Mr. Bear and has come to appreciate Mikan for her kindness and cheerful demeanor, feeling grateful for her friendship with his doll. During his time on hospital leave, Mr. Bear would bring him rape blossoms daily, which are noted as his favorite flowers.
