Rin works as an apprentice carpenter and has garnered significant attention from women on Airan because of her tomboyish appearance and demeanor. Before Ikuto arrived, she was the target of considerable romantic interest, a situation that made her so uncomfortable she began bathing alone. Despite her voluptuous figure and impressive physical strength, Rin considers herself quite feminine. She dislikes being seen naked, unlike her peers, and enjoys wearing pretty clothes in private. Her culinary skills are superior to her carpentry abilities, as noted in the manga. Initially, she proposed to Ikuto to prove her heterosexuality and stop the unwanted advances from other girls, but she eventually developed genuine affection for him. She refers to Ikuto as danna, a term that embarrasses him.
