In "Nagasarete Airantou," 14-year-old Ikuto Touhouin runs away from home following an argument with his father and boards a ship heading to another country. A powerful storm sinks the vessel, leaving Ikuto adrift in the ocean for a week before he washes ashore on a strange island. This island's way of life resembles the Meiji period, and all its residents are female. Cut off from the outside world by dangerous whirlpools encircling the island, these women have never encountered a man. Ikuto's arrival disrupts their secluded existence.
