Summary
Kazuto Okiura is a debt collector with ties to the Yakuza who makes his debut near the end of the fifth chapter. Known for his frequent smiles and habit of smoking, he is the ex-husband of Sayaka and holds significant influence over the constant threat of closure facing her kindergarten. Fujimoto harbors a deep hatred for Okiura due to the past harm inflicted on Sayaka, while Okiura seems to take pleasure in provoking and aggravating him. Despite his cheerful and composed demeanor, his background hints at a darker, more sinister side. He has shown interest in Kobato after their initial encounter and displays what might be genuine concern for Sayaka, even as he continues to threaten the school's existence.
