Summary
Shinobu is a fourteen-year-old ninja with a birthday on September 29, 1987, a B blood type, and a petite stature standing at 152cm tall and weighing 39kg. As Mikoto’s biological sister, she harbors an intense infatuation with samurai culture, prompting her to embark on a solitary journey to train her combat skills. Her path is often hindered by a terrible sense of direction and general clumsiness, leading her to become lost in the depths of a forest. Consequently, she remains unaware of Ikuto’s arrival for a significant period. Upon learning that Ikuto is a formidable sword master who defeated the Leader of the North, she stubbornly demands a sparring match, pestering him for days until he finally agrees. After Ikuto defeats her, she persists in her audacity to the point where he reluctantly accepts her as his disciple in swordsmanship, primarily to avoid further harassment. Her single-minded obsession with strength and combat leaves her completely ignorant of romantic concepts. This innocence is highlighted when Ikuto accidentally grabs her breasts during their fight; she fails to comprehend the nature of the sensation. Similarly, while other girls hope for Ikuto to visit their rooms as a sign of affection, Shinobu eagerly anticipates his arrival for the sole purpose of sparring. However, she begins to exhibit jealousy when others receive his attention, such as when Rin and Suzu are favored. After seeing Ikuto pat Suzu on the head, Shinobu becomes fixated on receiving the same praise herself. She is accompanied day and night by her animal companion, a cow named Beef Jerky.
