Summary
Inagaki serves as a Sergeant within the Kanagawa Prefecture Police. One of his primary sources of friction is his younger superior, Toshikazu Chiba, whose willingness to bend or ignore regulations often clashes with Inagaki’s sensibilities. Being senior to Chiba in age, Inagaki is not shy about reminding his younger boss of the age difference.
