Yoshikichi
Summary
Yoshikichi serves as the sole companion to Seizou, acting as the elderly man who initially greets Fuu upon her arrival at the house. He is hesitant to share any information with her until he recognizes her identity. While Fuu speaks with her father, Yoshikichi waits outside but later stands by her side to offer reassurance when Kariya appears. When the assassin enters the residence, the retainer attempts to hold Fuu back from interfering, eventually throwing himself in front of Kariya to shield her. Kariya casually strikes him down, merely knocking him unconscious, and Yoshikichi plays no further part in the decisive battle. In the aftermath, he is seen speaking with Fuu, once again reassuring her that her father loved and missed her. Additionally, it appears he assisted Fuu in burying her father and caring for Jin and Mugen throughout their week of recuperation.
