Summary
Kyuu is participant number 105 in the 287th Hunter Examination. He is one of the 24 examinees who advances to the fourth phase on Zevil Island. During this stage, his badge becomes the designated target for Pokkle, who paralyzes Kyuu with a poisoned arrow and steals the badge. Left helpless on the ground, Kyuu is tended to by Gon, who bandages him and relocates him to a safe spot to wait out the poison’s effects. Kyuu later reappears during the arc to attempt the 288th Hunter Examination, but he fails after being knocked out by Killua.
