Miwa, Satoshi
Summary
As the student body president and a third-year student, Satoshi attracts the attention of many girls, though his heart is set on Meiko. He attempts to win her affection as a substitute for his friend Na-chan, but his crude humor and perceived irresponsibility lead Meiko to view him as a playboy. Although they date for a period, Meiko cannot move past her feelings for Na-chan. After multiple failed attempts to make her forget him, Satoshi realizes he has no chance with her following the Hiroshima arc and abandons his romantic pursuit, choosing to remain her friend instead. Satoshi is the first to recognize Yuu's interest in architecture. His initially strange behavior toward Yuu leads Yuu and Miki to suspect he is gay and harbors a crush on him, a misconception Satoshi cleverly exploits to his advantage. Eventually, the two reach an understanding, and Satoshi assists Yuu in investigating the identity of his biological father, suspecting that Yoshimitsu might be the true parent. Although it is ultimately revealed that Yoshimitsu is not Yuu's father, the two remain best friends.
