Summary
Sonomi Daidouji holds the position of President at a major toy corporation and is widely recognized for her considerable wealth. She is the mother of Tomoyo Daidouji, who serves as Sakura’s closest friend, and was the first cousin of Sakura’s deceased mother, Nadeshiko Kinomoto. Sonomi harbored deep affection for her cousin but strongly opposed her union with Fujitaka. Following Nadeshiko’s untimely death, Sonomi held Fujitaka responsible, and it appears that Nadeshiko was partially estranged from the Daidouji family during her marriage. To maintain a connection to her lost cousin, Sonomi requires Tomoyo to keep her hair long, a style that evokes memories of Nadeshiko.
