Summary
Haruna Sairenji serves as the second female lead in To Love Ru, sharing a classroom with Rito and harboring romantic feelings for him that date back to their junior high school days. She is drawn to his gentle nature but suppresses her emotions due to her friendship with Lala, who also loves Rito. After confiding in Lala about her struggles, the two agree to remain friends while treating each other as rivals for Rito's affection. Haruna resides in an apartment with her older sister, Akiho Sairenji, and suffers from an intense fear of ghosts and the supernatural, with Oshizu Murasame being a slight exception. Her phobia often leads to comedic situations where she grabs Rito and swings him around to escape whatever frightens her.
