Summary

Mey-Rin, whose name in Romaji is Meirin, stands 165 cm tall and serves as the bespectacled maid for the Phantomhive household. She approaches her duties with great enthusiasm, yet she is notoriously incompetent due to her extreme clumsiness. Her blunders are frequent and dramatic, ranging from using excessive amounts of soap while doing laundry to tripping and breaking fine china. When faced with important tasks, she tends to stutter and panic, which only exacerbates her natural awkwardness. Mey-Rin wears a pair of glasses that fail to correct her vision or help with her coordination, yet she stubbornly refuses to replace them because they were the first gift purchased for her by Ciel. It is implied that she harbors a crush on Sebastian, as her clumsiness intensifies whenever he is watching her.
