Summary
Shikizaki Kiki was a reclusive master swordsmith and soothsayer from the Sengoku period who remained independent, belonging to no specific house or nation. His craftsmanship was so revered that his blades were distributed across twenty-five countries, with the nation possessing the highest concentration of his swords achieving dominance. Historical accounts suggest that the first 988 swords he forged served as practice for the final twelve, known as the Deviant Blades. Kiki drew inspiration for these ultimate weapons from his ability to peer into the future, which revealed the specific methods required for their creation. He maintained a friendship with Kazune Yasuri, the founder of the Kyotouryuu, who was regarded as his 'final blade.' During the development of the Deviant Blades, Kiki explored alchemy and the occult. It was later confirmed that the Kyotouryuu represents Shikizaki's Perfected Deviant Blade.
