Summary
Koyomi Mizuhara, often referred to as Yomi, serves as a grade-school friend and the direct opposite of Tomo. She acts as the voice of reason within the group, maintaining a mature and serious demeanor that contrasts with her peers. Although she is both intelligent and athletic, Yomi struggles with body image issues and frequently attempts various diets to lose weight, only to fail because she cannot resist her favorite foods. She also possesses a peculiar flaw: despite being above average in other areas, she is a terrible singer, yet karaoke remains one of her favorite hobbies. While she typically plays the straight man to Tomo’s antics, Yomi can occasionally display a cruel sense of humor. If pushed too far, she is known to deliver an uppercut to Tomo. However, she is not entirely immune to childish behavior, as evidenced when she asked Chiyo to imbue a shrine charm with her intelligence to help Yomi pass her college entrance exams.
