Summary
Horumon Yaki serves as the leader of the Horumon Clan and is a Choujin originating from Horumon City on Planet Kinniku. His Choujin Kyoudo power level stands at 50,000. He first made his debut in Manga Chapter 82 and the Anime Movie 2. Historically, the Horumon Clan held greater power than the Kinniku Clan, but a conflict with the Kinniku family led to its decline. Horumon Yaki has faced defeat at the hands of Mayumi Kinniku on numerous occasions, and his wife Harami was slain by the Kinniku Clan. Seeking vengeance, he dispatched his daughter Bibinba and Shishkeba Boo of the Barbecue Clan as assassins, though both attempts failed. After Bibinba married into the Kinniku family, Horumon Yaki reconciled with them. While he appeared with a shaved head during his earlier days as a impoverished villain, he is depicted wearing a mask in later appearances as Kinnikuman's in-law, consistent with the custom of other inhabitants of Planet Kinniku. In Kinnikuman Nisei, he serves as one of the four great elders on the Choujin Council of Planet Kinniku. His name is derived from horumonyaki.
