Summary
At sixteen years old, Nanako is a high school student and one of Makunouchi Ippo's most devoted fans. This devotion leads her to view Mashiba Kumi as a direct rival, resulting in constant competition between the two girls. Nanako seizes every opportunity to spend time with Ippo, once attempting to kiss him while he slept following a grueling match, only to be stopped by Kumi. Like her older brother Manabu, she is strikingly beautiful, though she also shares her family’s penchant for puns. Although Imai Kyousuke harbors feelings for her, she generally dismisses his advances, having no interest in dating her brother’s rival.
