Summary
Yuka is a classmate of Youko in Japan who is transported to Kou alongside Youko and Asano. She has a fondness for fantasy novels and is excited about the adventure, convinced that she is destined for greatness. Initially positioned as a rival, she becomes intensely jealous upon discovering that Youko is the chosen one, as she feels equally worthy. The king of Kou exploits this jealousy to persuade her to oppose Youko. After reconciling with Youko, she realizes her error and is subsequently sent back to Japan. In the light novels, she is merely mentioned briefly and does not travel to the Twelve Kingdoms, remaining instead in Hourai.
