Summary
Park Kyung-Hye serves as the devoted mother of Jin-Woo. She is characterized by her immense selflessness and deep affection for her family, prioritizing her children above all else. This dedication is evident when she immediately inquires about Jinah’s condition upon waking from a four-year coma. Following the disappearance of her husband, Il-Hwan, during a raid ten years before the narrative begins, Kyung-Hye refused to accept his death and raised their children single-handedly. Approximately four years prior to the story's onset, she began exhibiting symptoms of Eternal Slumber, a mana-induced sleeping disorder with no known cure. Acknowledging that she would eventually lose consciousness permanently, she secured a promise from Jin-Woo to care for Jinah once the illness took full effect. When she inevitably fell into a coma, Jin-Woo chose to become a hunter, following in Il-Hwan’s footsteps to financially support his sister and cover their mother’s medical expenses.
