Morgiana

Summary

Morgiana is a member of the Fanalis, a fierce tribe of descendants from red lions originating in Alma torran, hailing from the Dark Continent. Her name, which means coral in Arabic, pays homage to the intelligent slave from the Thousand and One Nights who served Alibaba in the tale of Alibaba and the Forty Thieves. Originally enslaved by Jamil, a young man driven by an obsessive desire to become king, Morgiana was controlled through severe mistreatment that instilled fear and secured her loyalty. This abusive upbringing rendered her unfriendly and guarded, causing her to suppress her emotions to avoid trouble. However, after interacting with Goltas, another slave of Jamil, she began to question her status and eventually chose to leave the dungeon. She embarked on a journey to her homeland, Katarg, to reunite with her people, a path she later shared with her friends Alibaba and Aladdin. Through these travels, she gradually shed her defensive exterior to reveal her true personality. Despite appearing as an ordinary girl, Morgiana possesses immense physical prowess, most notably in her legs, which allow her to scale vertical walls with ease. Her speed is so rapid that she can close distances to enemies in an instant. Beyond her leg strength, which is powerful enough to send humans like Alibaba flying, she has a keen sense of smell comparable to a dog’s, enabling her to detect hidden individuals or the stench of death from deep within pits. While her arm strength is less formidable than her leg strength, it remains substantial. After Alibaba left Qishan, she inscribed Goltas’s words on her chest and continued her journey toward Katarg. En route to Balbadd, she assisted Leila and Sahsa’s caravan in eliminating thieves at a rock quarry. Following this event, she reunited with Aladdin and rejoined Alibaba in Balbadd.
