Almieja, Marcos
Summary
Marcos Almieja is a Brazilian defender playing for Barcelona, first introduced during the Road to 2002 arc. Wearing the number 15 jersey, he stands alongside Pedro Fonseca and Gordoba Gonzales as one of the club's proud defenders. Prior to this storyline, a lingering injury prevented him from performing at his peak during the previous season. When the trio of senior players tested the Barcelona B squad, Tsubasa challenged them, and the three defenders found themselves unable to stop the young striker in that duel. Almieja has a son named Fabio. A dispute arose when one of Fabio's friends, Sise, claimed that Barcelona was full of greenhorns. After the two quarreled over this comment, Almieja instructed Fabio to bring Sise to the Camp Nou to witness Barcelona's victory in an El Clasico. During the match, Almieja received a yellow card for a foul against Natureza. He had been about to strike Natureza in response to some bad-mouthing, but Tsubasa intervened to stop him. Recalling his promise to his son, Almieja calmed down and redoubled his efforts on defense. Barcelona ultimately secured the win, and no voice actors have been assigned to this character yet.
