Summary
Nagamitsu Sakonshougen is an ambitious man convinced of his own greatness, traveling across Japan to defeat renowned samurai in hopes of eventually residing within Edo Castle. As a self-proclaimed samurai, he is accompanied by two apprentices: Shinpachi, who provides beat-box accompaniment during battles or public spectacles, and Ogura Bunta, who enhances Nagamitsu’s visual appeal by reflecting sunlight to create a picturesque aura. His primary goal is to seize the title of "Undefeated in one thousand duels," currently held by Jin and formerly by Mariya Enshirō, to further his fame. Consequently, Nagamitsu actively hunts for samurai wearing glasses, specifically targeting Jin. Despite his grand aspirations, he is actually a mediocre swordsman who survives most duels through sheer luck. Furthermore, while he openly flirts with Fuu, he is already married to Budoukiba, whom he refers to as "Osen," and they have children together.
