Summary

Hideyoshi Kinoshita is a second-year student at Fumizuki Gakuen and has been Akihisa’s friend since their first year. While he possesses a remarkably normal mindset for Class F, this very trait often subjects him to pressure from his peers. His grandfather claims he possesses unbelievable beauty, to the extent that he is frequently mistaken for a girl, though he is decidedly male. This loveliness even led to his nomination in the Journalism Club’s list of men who would look good in female attire, only for him to be removed from the rankings for being deemed "unfair." Due to his appearance, many girls forget his gender, leaving Akihisa as the primary person who recognizes him as male, although even Akihisa occasionally forgets. For the safety of himself and others during training camps, he is provided with a private dressing room and bathroom. Rumors circulate at school that he is actually a third gender, dubbed "Hideyoshi." Like Akihisa, his photos are secretly traded, with his images costing five times more than those of Akihisa in girl outfits. He feels regret over not being treated as a man, yet he blushes when Akihisa treats him as a girl, enjoys being called a fool’s friend, and delivers tackles that are subtly off-target, suggesting he does not dislike the attention entirely. He is a member of the Drama Club, specializing in vocal mimicry for both genders. Despite his reluctance to act, he excels in his roles due to an excessive dramatic spirit. He was placed in Class F because he became too absorbed in theater, causing his grades to suffer, particularly in Classic Literature. Contrasting his delicate looks, he possesses an "extremely strong stomach," which he calls "Steel Stomach," capable of consuming potato seeds. However, even this resilience fails against Mizuki’s powerful lunches. His name is derived from Toyotomi Hideyoshi and his former name, Kinoshita Toukichirou. His shoukanjuu equipment consists of blue pants and a Naginata, with an Occult version of Nekomata, a ghost cat girl influenced by the nature of "Cuteness." In the 2009 version of "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!", he ranked first among male characters and tenth among female characters, securing a cumulative second place among all characters.
