Yaboshi, Seiya
Summary
Seiya, whose surname Yaboshi translates to night star, is a blonde boy from Planet Sharaku who travels to Earth. He develops a fondness for Miyu and frequently disguises himself as Kanata to get closer to her. Members of his race possess the ability to read minds simply by touching hands. He makes his debut in the episode titled "The Mysterious Boy, Yaboshi Seiya," where he touches Miyu’s hand and learns her thoughts. Initially, he intends to take Ruu back to Planet Sharaku to appear on a television program, as people from Planet Otto are considered rare. However, after reading Miyu’s mind, he realizes how precious Ruu is to both her and Kanata, leading him to abandon his plan. Seiya has a sister named Rui, who once rescued him from being sucked into a wormhole. He also endured a sheltered childhood.
