Summary
Kisaragi serves as Kurama’s personal secretary, a role in which she is frequently portrayed as absent-minded and notably clumsy. Her narrative arc concludes early in the story when she encounters Lucy in a hallway, unaware of the danger. Upon noticing Lucy covered in blood, Kisaragi approaches her, only to be taken hostage. When Kurama’s security forces fail to get a clear shot at Lucy, Kurama informs Kisaragi that she must be sacrificed. Rather than showing distress, Kisaragi expresses contentment at being able to help by giving her life. Although Kurama attempts to assure her that her death will not be in vain, Lucy acts first, decapitating Kisaragi before Kurama can order his men to fire. Lucy then uses Kisaragi’s headless corpse as a human shield against the remaining guards, killing them all. As she departs, Lucy mocks Kurama by declaring Kisaragi’s death meaningless, leaving with a laugh.
