Hikari Hanazono was born on March 20 and has blood type O. She favors rice balls and lives with her parents and an older brother. Her defining drive is an intense determination to defeat Kei in any contest, ranging from school event organization to wrestling matches. While she is a kind-hearted girl who constantly worries about whether others are having fun, she often lacks common sense. As the second-highest-ranked student in her tenth-grade class, she is stubborn, proud, and hot-headed, refusing to back down from challenges, particularly those issued by Kei, whom she is always eager to surpass. She excels at almost everything except cooking and teaching. Although she is capable of handling herself in fights, often against boys, Kei becomes irritated when she endangers herself, treating her more delicately than she treats herself.
