Shibata, Masayoshi
Summary
Shibata Masayoshi serves as the school physician and occasional substitute instructor at Jougaoka High School. Beyond his professional duties, he manages a gay bar that was previously operated by his father, though the establishment is technically registered under the name of his older brother, Masami. While Masayoshi projects a loud and abrasive persona, he is deeply insecure at his core. He finds himself bewildered by Arisawa Atsushi’s interactions until Atsushi inadvertently reveals a photograph of himself alongside Masami, leading to the realization that Atsushi has confused the two brothers. The siblings share a mixed heritage, with a Japanese father and a Norwegian mother who passed away when they were young. Their father currently resides in Norway with their grandmother, while Masayoshi and Masami live together in Japan.
