Summary
Yamamoto served as the head of the Munich branch of the Kadofuku company. Following the resumption of Hans Georg Schuwald’s financial activities, German corporations scrambled to curry favor with him. Consequently, when Schuwald’s secretary, Johan, requested that Yamamoto locate a copy of The Nameless Monster, he traveled to the Czech Republic to secure one almost immediately. Before the incident, Yamamoto was a friend of Tenma and was originally scheduled to meet with Heinrich Lunge to answer certain questions. Due to his sudden trip, the meeting with the inspector was delayed until later that evening at a bar. After Lunge saw Yamamoto’s copy of The Nameless Monster, he began investigating the book, which ultimately led him to travel to Prague to uncover more information about the mysterious Emil Sebe, also known as Franz Bonaparta.
