Summary
Escarotte Barrow is a male character whose primary ability allows him to manifest past visions into reality. He typically employs this power in tandem with his Sacred Treasures to generate relentless attacks. His personality is defined by a singular focus on his objectives, leading him to discard any obstacles that hinder his goals. However, his ability is strictly limited; he can only use Kurogane, Masshu, and Galiper effectively. The other Sacred Treasures are physically attached to his body, and activating his power with them would recreate his past selves. Defeating any of these recreated iterations would result in his own defeat. Escarotte carries a heavy burden from his past, stemming from an accidental incident where he used Kurogane on his adoptive mother. Mistaking her for a burglar breaking into their home, he triggered the treasure’s power, causing her to fall into a coma that lasted for several years. The trauma resurfaced when he later used Kurogane against actual burglars, which terrified his mother upon her waking. Believing himself to be a monster after fleeing their home, he subsequently joined Robert and the rest of the team. Despite his dark history, he is also noted to be a talented artist.
